Salinas Police need help finding taco meat thief

Salinas Police want the public’s help identifying a man who they say stole hundreds of dollars worth of meat from Super Taqueria.

Police said it happened sometime between 8 and 9 p.m. on Nov. 23. They said a man approached the Super Taqueria on Williams Road to order food. While his food was being prepared, police said the man entered the back of the restaurant and stole hundreds of dollars worth of meat. He then went back to the front to pick up his order. The man left with both the food and meat.

The man was caught on security camera, and police have released the images in hopes someone will recognize him.
