Santa Cruz website revamp provides new way to comment on city council matters

A new feature on the city of Santa Cruz website provides a way for residents to reach out to elected officials about items specifically on the city council meeting agenda.

When visitors click on the City Council Meetings page and choose an agenda item, a “Public Comment” section will appear in the top right hand corner of the page where the “Make a Comment” button can be selected.

Once submitted, the correspondence will be disseminated to the entire seven member City Council.

The council meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 2:30 and 7 p.m.
