Impact Monterey County seeking residents’ ideas for the community

Impact Monterey County is seeking input from county residents.

A community conversation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Oldemeyer Center to discuss residents’ vision for the community.

Impact Monterey County is a collaborative effort of nonprofits, businesses, public agencies and the community working together to identify the most effective ways to improve life in our county.

The organization is employing multiple outreach and engagement strategies to shine a light on our community – our quality of life – particularly related to education, income (economic self-sufficiency) and health. The benefit to our community will be the alignment of stakeholders toward common goals and measurements that improve conditions for all.

Those who cannot attend Wednesday’s meeting are invited to partake in Impact Monterey County’s survey.
