Accident stalls commute in Marina, lanes back open

Both lanes of Imjin Parkway are back open Wednesday morning after a two-car accident near Third Avenue in Marina caused a major traffic backup.

Police had to close one lane of Imjin in order to clear and investigate the accident.

Police were trying to get morning commuters to work and school at CSUMB to take Reservation Road as an alternate.

Officers say the accident caused moderate injuries.
