Pacific Grove hosts Fourth of July Hometown Celebration
The Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce will host its July 4th festivities from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Caledonia Park, Tommy Stillwell Court.
Entertainment will be provided by Pacific Grove-based classic rock band Firefly, and Mambo Wally, a local blues ensemble and more.
Barbecue plates including chicken or hot dogs, garlic bread, baked beans, salad and dessert will be available for sale.
Local actors will present a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence, and games, a bouncy house, free popcorn and snow cones will be available for the kids. Chamber volunteers also will hand out complimentary flags during the celebration.
