Deputies investigating Castroville shooting

Deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night in Castroville.

Deputies were called to the 10000 block of Seymour Street at 10:30 for reports of a shooting victim. There, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was airlifted to a Bay Area hospital.

The motive is still under investigation but deputies say they haven’t ruled out the possibility that it was gang related.
