A father and son in Hollister are accused of running an alleged “chop shop,” according to Santa Cruz County prosecutors.

Tuesday, Watsonville police detectives and the Santa Cruz Auto-theft Recovery and Enforcement Task Force served a search warrant at HellBent Custom Motorcycles, 2540 San Juan Hollister Road in Hollister.

During the search, officers turned up the chopped-up remains of a Ford F250 pickup that had been reported stolen out of Watsonville, and a motorcycle engine that had the serial number removed.
