20-year-old dies after being shot in King City
A 20-year-old man was shot to death near King City Tuesday night, Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Pine Canyon Road around 9 p.m. and found one victim of a gunshot wound.
John Antonio Flores was taken to a local hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
Deputies are seeking anyone with information about the incident and are asking witnesses to call either Investigator Marty Opseth or Sgt. Terry Kaiser at 755-3772, or the anonymous tipline at 888-833-4847.
