Monterey Regional Airport announces flights to Orange County, Burbank

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey Regional Airport announced that it will be adding seasonal hop-on flights to Orange County and Burbank starting in April.

The flights will go to and from John Wayne Airport, Orange County and Hollywood Burbank Airport, and service will be provided by JSX.

The new flights will be departing the Monterey Jet Center. The flights are currently available for booking, and the first flights will begin April 17.

According to the airport, JSX is a hop-on jet service dedicated to short flights, and tickets are expected to start at $99 each way. There will be daily round-trip flights on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday.

This is the fourth year of operation for JSX, and it flies between private terminals on 30-seat jets. According to the airport, travelers will only need to arrive 20 minutes before departure and can check in up to three complimentary bags.
