Dry Tuesday, But Not Wednesday
Showers come to an end overnight with just a few sprinkles left by dawn. Weak high pressure nudges in from the south for Tuesday which will keep skies partly cloudy, but at the surface, cooler northwesterly winds will keep highs below normal. The next storm system will ride over the ridge to our west and slide through our area on Wednesday bringing light to moderate rain.
AIR QUALITY: Good
Overnight: Mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Patchy fog and drizzle possible. Lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy and slightly cool with highs in the upper 50s to around 60ºF. Gusty northwest winds at times.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with light to moderate rain during the afternoon and into the evening. Breezy. Cooler, with highs in the upper 50s.
Extended: Showers may linger into Thursday morning, then we’re likely to dry through the weekend with the ridge building in—high clouds will continue to stream in, though, keeping temperatures subdued for a few days, but we’ll likely see highs in the 60s-70s out of the weekend. The first week of February is trending wet!
