Weekend Warm-Up?
Weak troughing will linger on the West Coast into next week. This will take the pressure off the marine layer, keeping it relatively deep and keeping inland areas from getting too hot. On the coast, seasonable temperatures can be expected with the daily cycle of low clouds.
Saturday: Morning low clouds breaking to partly cloudy on the coast and sunny inland. Seasonable temperatures with mid-60s to low 70s on the coast and upper 70s to upper 90s inland. Breezy for inland valleys in the afternoon.
Overnight: Low clouds thicken and push into inland areas. Patchy drizzle/fog. Expect coastal lows in the mid-50s with low to mid-50s inland.
Sunday: Morning low clouds breaking to partly cloudy on the coast and sunny inland. Seasonable temperatures with mid-60s to low 70s on the coast and upper 70s to upper 90s inland. Breezy for inland valleys in the afternoon.
Extended: Seasonable weather can be expected next week with coastal highs in the 60s to low 70s and upper 70s to 90s inland. Coastal low clouds can be expected in the mornings and evenings with periods of afternoon sun. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
