Rain Chances During and Out of the Weekend
A cold front will pass through the Central Coast today bringing scattered, light showers and occasionally breezy conditions. Another storm system will dig to our southwest, well offshore, but will begin to push moisture into our region on Sunday. An isolated shower can’t be ruled out on Sunday, but better rain chances occur on Monday and Tuesday as that low approaches and targets central/southern California. Loaded with moisture, moderate rainfall will be possible, especially the farther south you go. High pressure will build back in with warmer, dryer conditions through the end of the week.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers. Cool, with highs in the 50s to low 60s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy and cool with an isolated shower possible--mainly near the coast. Highs in the 50s to low 60s. Occasionally breezy on the exposed coast.
Extended: Slightly warmer with a better chance of rain Monday & Tuesday. Rain chances will increase the farther south you go both days. Highs in the 60s. A shower may linger into Wednesday, but a clearing, drying, and warming trend can then be expected through the end of the week.
