Dry Start To The Week
Cooler weather can be expected on Monday as blustery northwest flow follows Sunday’s weak cold front. Weak high pressure will build in sending temps back to around normal on Tuesday before the next weathermaker arrives on Wednesday.
Air Quality: Good
Overnight: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with a mix of cloud levels. Patchy fog and drizzle possible. Lows in the mid to upper 40s on the coast and upper 30s to mid-40s inland. Breezy northwesterly winds on the exposed coast, otherwise light winds.
Monday: Mostly cloudy early, then becoming partly cloudy for most areas. Further clearing late. Gusty northwesterly winds at times. Cooler, with coastal highs in the mid-50s to low 60s and upper 50s to mid-60s for inland valleys.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy and a bit warmer with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s on the coast and mid to upper 60s inland. Breezy northwesterly winds at times.
Extended: A weak weather system will pass by on Wednesday and may bring some light precipitation around the bay from the late morning into the early afternoon. At the moment, impacts look minimal. Cooler northwesterly flow will follow into Thursday with occasionally gusty moments. High pressure then builds in, sending temperatures above normal into the weekend.
