Quiet Weekend

The rest of the weekend will be quiet with clouds and some sunshine, and daytime highs will be warmer for inland areas. Expect more clouds overnight and into Sunday morning, and a couple spotty light rain/sprinkles possible, especially in Santa Cruz County, as a weak cold front arrives at the coast. The weather pattern for next week will be mainly dry (another weak front will bring slight rain chances Wednesday) with temps slowly on the rise with highs in the upper 60s, and even low 70s inland, by next weekend.

Air Quality: Good

Overnight: Increasing clouds and not as cold with lows in the 30s to low 40s. Patchy fog. Slight chance for light rain/sprinkles into Sunday morning.

Sunday: Morning clouds and fog with slight chance for spotty shower before noon, then gradually clearing with some sunshine and warmer with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s coastal and mid to upper 60s in parts of southern inland valleys.

Extended
: A bit cooler on Monday then a very gradual warmup for much of next week. There is another chance for very light rain/sprinkles on Wednesday as a second weak system approaches. Then mostly sunny and mild. Temps late week into next weekend are trending above normal.
