Next Round Of Night Rain

The next weather-maker arrives tonight with rain expected across the region. Most of your Friday will be dry, however! Expect passing clouds and slightly cool temperatures. The front will approach after dark with increasing clouds and rain reaching the Monterey Bay Area around midnight. Rain is likely to be light to moderate as it slowly moves from northwest to southeast across the KION coverage areas. It should end for most cities around the bay before sunrise, but a few showers may linger into the afternoon over the hills and in the south. Winds then slowly switch offshore late Saturday into Sunday.

AIR QUALITY: Good

Saturday: Showers clearing early with patchy fog, then becoming partly cloudy with a few lingering showers, mainly in the east and south. Continued cool with highs in the 60s for most areas. Breezy at times.

Extended:
Winds shift offshore late Saturday into Sunday and could be gusty over the hills at times. Recent rains will dull fire danger but for areas that don’t see much rain, it will be elevated. Generally warmer, sunnier weather can be expected out of the weekend into next week.
