Dry, But Cool For Trick Or Treaters!

A cold front moved through early this morning bringing light rain and damp roads to the Central Coast. Gradual clearing and dry conditions are expected for all of the ghouls and goblins this Halloween evening! Skies will clear with breezy and cool temps continuing. Friday night will bring another chance for rain and this time we could see more widespread, higher precipitation amounts. High pressure next week means a return to warmer temperatures and quiet weather.

AIR QUALITY: Good to Moderate

Today: Rain ending by late morning with gradual clearing. Breezy and cool with highs mainly in the low to upper 60s.

Overnight: Partly cloudy with patchy fog, and chilly with lows in the 30s and 40s again.

Friday: AM fog and clouds then sunny with highs staying cool in the low to upper 60s. Increasing clouds late with rain chances increasing overnight.

Extended:
The next storm system takes shape to our north and will bring more rain to the local area through Saturday. This system will be more of a rain-maker, with precipitation totals quite possibly up to an 1 inch of rain especially for the northern communities. Sunday will be the best day of the weekend. High pressure will then take over Sunday into early next week which should warm us up with sunshine.
