Quiet Weekend

Cooler weather continues into the weekend as a weather system brushes by to the north. It will help deepen the marine layer into Saturday with some drizzle possible, but the system’s rain won’t make it to our shores.  The dominant ridge(s) of high pressure will remain to our south allowing for more southern penetration of the storm track through next week. Another system approaches mid-week, which we are monitoring for rain chances.

AIR QUALITY: Good to Moderate

Saturday: Partly cloudy and continued cool. Highs in the 60s to low 70s on the coast and 70s to mid-80s inland. Breezy northwest winds at times. Low clouds increase late with a chance of light drizzle.

Overnight: Mostly cloudy on the coast with low clouds/fog and patchy drizzle. Mostly clear inland. Lows in the low 50s on the coast and 40s to low 50s inland.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and a touch cooler. Drizzle possible in the AM. Highs in the 60s to low 70s on the coast and 70s to low 80s inland. Gusty northwest winds at times, especially for exposed areas.

Extended:
Expect partly cloudy and seasonable weather for most of the early part of next week before a pair of systems approach late-week. The Wednesday system may bring some light rain, but it is still far out.
