Two armed robbery suspects arrested in Seaside, police say

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV)- On Thursday, Seaside Police said they have arrested two suspects who allegedly stole jewelry from a man in December.

Investigators said the incident took place on December 23, 2023 around 1:20 p.m. on the 1700 block of San Pablo Avenue.

Officers said that four men allegedly robbed the man at gunpoint as he was walking along San Pablo Avenue.

The four suspects stole a Citizen watch worth $800 plus a gold link chain worth $400 from the man and threatened him with semi-automatic pistols according to investigators.

Police said that they were able to identify the suspect car through a FLOCK license plate reader camera.

Officers said they were able to arrest two of the suspects involved in the robbery on the 500 block of Trinity Avenue.

Police arrested 20-year-old Marcos Sanchez-Canseco of Seaside and his 15-year-old brother of Seaside. Police were also able to discover a ski mask and the victim's necklace.
