Forward progress stopped on wildfire in San Martin

SAN MARTIN, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Cal Fire SCU said firefighters were able to stop the forward progress of a fire burning in the San Martin area on Sunday.

The fire burned about 3 acres before crews got a handle on it, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was burning along Monterey Road and California Avenue.

So far no injuries are reported and no evacuation warnings or orders are listed at this time.
