Del Rey Oaks Police looking for a 33-year-old man who allegedly bit his wife’s face

DEL REY OAKS, Calif. (KION-TV)- Del Rey Oaks Police is looking for a 33-year-old man who allegedly bit his wife's face during a domestic violence incident.

Officers said the incident took place on Sunday when Juan Ricardo Ramirez Sanchez was involved in a incident with his wife and their three-month-old child.

Investigators said that his wife was leaving the residence with their child when Ramirez Sanchez allegedly pulled his wife's hair and allegedly bit her on her face which left injuries to her cheek and eye.

Police said that Ramirez Sanchez fled the residence on foot and has not been seen since.

Del Rey Oaks Police said that Ramirez Sanchez does not pose a danger to the public at this time. He is described as a 5'3'' to 5'5'' man weighing around 160 pounds. Investigators say he has had no prior domestic violence incidents.

Investigators said that Ramirez Sanchez was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown pants and green tennis shoes. He has been seen driving a blue Chevrolet Silverado with a license plate of 6B36810 and a silver Volkswagen Jetta with a license plate of 7HIP480.
