Community vigil for King City Mass Shooting victims to be held on Thursday night, Sheriff’s Office providing extra patrols
KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV)- The Monterey County Sheriff's Office and the California Highway Patrol will be providing extra patrols in King City in light of Sunday's mass shooting.
A community prayer vigil is being held at Chalone Peaks Middle School which is located at 667 Meyer Street in King City.
King City Police said that three men who were wearing masks got out of a stolen Kia Rio and opened fire at a birthday party on North 2nd Street.
Investigators said that 11 people were shot and four people died during the shooting.
Police were able to recover the stolen Kia Rio with a license plate of 7ZND369.
The Sheriff's Office said that there is a $20,000 reward for the arrest of the three alleged gunman in the shooting.
