Downed tree forces road closure in Aptos

APTOS, Calif. (KION) - Aptos Street at Soquel Drive in Aptos was shut down Saturday morning after a 50-foot tree fell on and blocked the entire roadway, according to CHP Santa Cruz. The agency told KION the closure was likely to last all day.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.
