Del Rey Oaks Police looking for suspect in hit and run incident

DEL REY OAKS, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Del Rey Oaks are asking for the publics help in searching for a suspect of a hit and run that took place on Highway 68 and Canyon Del Rey Boulevard.

On January 4th, Christian Hernandez followed a car from Chili’s in Seaside to the intersection of Canyon Del Rey Boulevard and Highway 68. While stopped at the intersection, Hernandez got out of his car and punctured the rear driver side tire of the car he followed.

After Hernandez punctured the tire, a male passenger from the car got out when Hernandez hit him with his car before taking off westbound 68 towards Monterey.

The victim's injury status is unknown at this time.

Hernandez was last seen driving a green 2000 Ford Mustang with a California license plate 4MOL592. He's wanted for assault with a deadly weapon resulting in great bodily injury and vandalism.
