Bolsa Knolls neighborhood deals with flooding during and after storm Thursday
BOLSA KNOLLS, Calif. (KION) -- Neighbors in Bolsa Knolls are dealing with flooding around their homes as a storm hits the Central Coast today.
People living there who say they will the county will do more than hand out sandbags during this time.
"[I'm] 78 years old. I'm tired of doing this," Bolsa Knolls resident Mary Daley said.
Sandbags could be seen lined up across several houses in the Bolsa Knolls neighborhood. Heavy rain caused flooding and frustration among people living in the area.

"I just looked out my back door and it looks like, you know, a war zone out there," resident Jeri Ashworth said.
Flooding could be seen on the road with water seeping into people's homes.
While some living in Bolsa Knolls say they're no strangers to flooding, others are experiencing it for the first time and say it's only gotten worse.

Michaela Baustista says she had to miss work to clean up the muddy mess caused by the flood which is more than costly.
"It affects me physically, emotionally and financially. I had to run out this morning because the pumps the pumps went out and buy two [is] sometimes $800. That's $800 that I don't have, but I had to give them," Bautista said. "So I had to call in to work. That's you know, that's eight hours. You know, I'm not getting paid."
Last fall, Monterey County secured funds for a drainage study to find solutions for this continuing problem.
For now, the county is offering shovels and sandbags to help prevent flood
