Work continues along Hwy 68 after car crashes into pole over the weekend

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION-TV) Crews continued working along Highway 68 on Monday morning after a car struck a pole over the weekend. PG&E says they immediately deenergized wires on Sunday.

However, crews remained in the area near the airport as they continued to dig for new power poles.

Traffic on Monday morning was reduced to one-lane.
