Hoover Dam explosion reported by Boulder City Fire Department
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KION-TV) - The Boulder City Fire Department said there was an explosion at the Hoover Dam Tuesday.
Boulder City FD said the fire was extinguished when crews arrived, according to FOX 5.
At approx. 10 a.m. PDT, the A5 transformer at Hoover Dam caught fire & was extinguished by @usbr/Hoover fire brigade at approx. 10:30am PDT. There are no injuries to visitors/employees.
