New drive-thru COVID-19 testing site opens in Soledad

SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Health Department is opening a new drive-thru COVID-19 testing site at Soledad High School starting Wednesday.

The site can serve up to 300 people and testing will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The health department said patients do not need to have symptoms to get tested and that it does not affect immigration status.

County residents are required to make an appointment before coming. You can schedule yours here.

Walk-ins are welcomed from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. based on availability.
