Santa Cruz County evacuees directed to alternate post offices

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) Several post offices are closed in Santa Cruz County due to the CZU Lightning Complex Fires, but mail can be picked up at alternate locations.

Those who are usually served by the Davenport Post Office on Highway 1 or the Scotts Valley Post Office are directed to the Santa Cruz Main Post Office. It is located at 850 Front Street in Santa Cruz, and pickup hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

People normally served by the Felton, Mt. Hermon, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek or Brookdale post offices are directed to the Watsonville Post office at 225 Main Street. Pickup hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Customers will need to provide photo ID for mail pickup.
