Salinas Police: Man arrested for having meth while driving on trails

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) Salinas police arrested a man near Carr Lake who allegedly had meth.

The Police Department's Off-Road Team was in the area and said it saw a vehicle driving on the trails.

Officers stopped the vehicle, and they said 21-year-old Jose Aquilles Escobar was inside. They said he had meth and shaved keys with him.

Escobar was arrested, and the vehicle is impounded.
