TORO PARK, Calif. (KION) Toro Fire Station is facing more than $20,000 in damages after what crews consider a vandalism incident late Wednesday night.

Monterey County Regional Fire said a small SUV crashed through the station's apparatus door and into a fire engine at about 11:30 p.m.

When crews got a 911 call Thursday morning, they were not able to leave and had to use a reserve fire engine.
