SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION) San Benito County and the City of Hollister are working with the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce to hold a face covering distribution.

They will give out free face coverings to non-profit groups and community members to help them comply with a pending Public Health Order issued by the San Benito County Health Officer requiring people to wear a cloth covering over the nose and mouth.

Officials ask that if you already have a face covering, allow others who may not have them or means to get them to be prioritized.

A drive-thru face covering distribution will be held Saturday from 12 p.m. until either 4 p.m. or the stock is gone. It will be at Winn Alley and Fifth Street next to the San Benito County Office of Education.

The county Office of Emergency Services is working with local non-profits that may need face coverings. Call 831-636-4168 for more information.
