PG&E beginning power restoration process in parts of Santa Cruz County

Santa Cruz County officials said PG&E is beginning the power restoration process in parts of the county.

Right now it is a partial restoration, and Jason Hoppin with Santa Cruz County said PG&E has not said which parts of the county are part of that process, but believes it is in areas further away from the mountains.

The restoration process could take a couple days, so power may not be restored tonight.

Hoppin also said that helicopters in the area are likely part of the inspection process.
