Couple gets Monterey Bay Aquarium tattoos for 65th birthdays

A couple’s love for the Monterey Bay Aquarium is making people swoon all over the Central Coast.

That photo is of the aquarium’s logo, tattooed on someone’s arm!

A volunteer named Larry has a wife who also works at the aquarium. In honor of their 65th birthdays, they got matching tattoos because they love the aquarium so much.

Larry tells KION that they thought the logo was cool, but also that the mission of the aquarium and the people are amazing.

Larry said he and his wife are retiring and moving out of state, so this is a way they can take the aquarium with them.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium responded on Twitter with the surprised face and heart eyes emoji.
