SPCA looking for tips regarding abandoned kittens

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) for Monterey County is looking for the person or people who abandoned five kittens at Jacks Peak Park.

A hiker and her dog discovered the kittens in a taped-up cardboard box Friday. There was no food or water inside the box.

The kittens are currently being treated at the SPCA.

The SPCA asks that anyone with any information pertaining to the case call the organization at 831-373-2631. All calls to this number are confidential.
