Fresh Express and union agree to new contract
Following a one-day employee walkout, Fresh Express announced Wednesday it has reached a contract agreement with Food and Commercial Workers Local 5.
The deal covers employees at the company’s Salinas facilities.

“We value our entire Fresh Express workforce and are very pleased to have reached agreement on a new contract in Salinas,” said Olivo. “At Fresh Express, we believe it is of the utmost importance to treat all of our employees with fairness, honesty and respect at all times.”
