Cowden Fire burns 17 acres in Hollister, hours after the Sabe Fire

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION-TV) - The Cowden Fire has been knocked down at 17 acres.

The Cowden Fire broke out in Hollister around 12:24 p.m.

According to CAL FIRE BEU, the fire started as a 1-acre fire before growing to 17 acres. It has since been knocked down as of 2:10 p.m.
