Two Salinas men arrested for attempted murder in Stockton

Two men from Salinas were arrested by Stockton police for attempted homicide.

It happened Thursday at around 6:20 p.m. Two women were driving in the 1200 block of Derrick Avenue in Stockton when police say the suspects drove up and shot into their car.

Both women were hit by the gunfire and were taken to a local hospital. Their injuries are non-life threatening.

Officers found the suspects and their car nearby. While investigating, officers say they found a gun that the suspects got rid of.They arrested 36-year-old Aaron Abraham Din and 29-year-old Jose Sigala.
