Hundreds of fraudulent credit cards, drugs, and stolen property seized in Scotts Valley
A husband and wife were arrested for allegedly manufacturing fraudulent credit cards, being in possession of drugs, burglary tools and suspected stolen property.
According to Scotts Valley Police, officers came in contact with a man and a woman at 253 Mt. Hermon Road in the early morning hours on Tuesday. The female, Diana Ress was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest in another county and was detained.
The K-9 unit picked up odors of a controlled substance. Officers searched the car and found 11 grams of methamphetamine, as well as manufacturing of 400 fraudulent credit/debit cards, burglary tools, suspected stolen property and a fraudulent California ID card.
SVPD said Jason Ress and his wife are both transients of Soquel and were arrested and booked into the county jail on various charges.
“Possession of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, conspiracy, possession of forged access cards, possession of equipment for the purpose of manufacturing forged access cards and possession of a fraudulent ID card,” said Lt. Michael Dean
