Homicide investigation in King City

A homicide investigation underway in King City after a man was found dead near the former Meyer Tomatoes Plant.

According to police, the man was found lying near the railroad tracks on North First Street to the rear of the former tomato plant at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, August 20th. He died from a gunshot wound.

The victim has been identified 23-year-old Juan Carlos Reyes of King City.

Police don’t have a motive for the homicide.
