Two men shot in Salinas, suspects at large

Two men were shot in Salinas Saturday night when two suspects walked up to them outside of a house on Roosevelt Street and fired multiple rounds, according to the Salinas Police Department.

Police said that both of the victims are in serious condition and are being treated at the hospital. At least of the victims is undergoing surgery. The men’s ages or names have not been released yet. The shooting appears to be gang-related, according to police.

Police said they have very little information about the suspects but do believe they ran to a car, possibly a newer white Toyota, and drove away after the shooting.
