Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Monterey feeds thousands
The Kiwanis Club, with the help of the Food Bank for Monterey County, is serving thousands of Thanksgiving meals Thursday.
More than 100 turkeys and ham are being served alongside some 600 lbs. of potatoes and stuffing.
Families also have the chance to load up on fresh vegetables and clothing donated from the community.
KION’s Paul Dudley is at the event and will have more tonight at 5 and 6.
