Driver dead after driving off cliff in Big Sur
CHP is investigating a fatal crash in Big Sur.
They said a driver drove off a cliff on Pfeiffer Ridge Road Tuesday evening.
A coroner was called to the scene just after 6 p.m.
At first, emergency crews believed the person inside was alive.
CHP was on the scene late into the night.
