Arts4MC announces art grants for 16 local organizations

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) - The Arts Council for Monterey County, known as Arts4MC, will be giving out its 2025 Community Arts Grants to 16 organizations.

The grants are up to $7,500 each, dedicated to supporting public arts programs and events.

The organizations are:

  • MILPA
  • Salinas Living Poetry and Prose Project
  • Salinas Living Poetry and Prose Project
  • Aromas Hills Artisans
  • Artistic-Civic League United
  • Hijos del Sol Arts Productions
  • Sol Treasures, Inc.
  • Elevate 831, LLC,
  • Community Partnership for Youth
  • Palenke Arts
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC)
  • Action Council
  • Carmel Delights Dance Company
  • Carl Cherry Center for the Arts
  • Sunset Cultural Center
  • The Lyceum of Monterey County
  • Congregation Beth Israel -- Carmel Jewish Film Festival

Projects that will be funded will include festivals, education programs, writing and theater workshops, murals, and exhibits throughout Monterey County.

This is the second round of awards for the current fiscal year.

“These organizations reflect the incredible diversity, talent, and heart of Monterey County. Through this grant program, we’re not only supporting local creativity—we’re ensuring that the arts are accessible and thriving in every part of our community," said Jacquie Atchison, Executive Director of Arts4MC.
