$400,000 winning Daily Derby lottery ticket sold in Monterey

A nearly $400,000 lottery ticket was purchased in Monterey this week, according to state lottery officials.

A winning Daily Derby ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven store at 2301 North Fremont Street near the Monterey Regional Airport. The ticket netted a prize of $391,574.

The California Lottery wants to remind the winner of Wednesday night’s race to sign the back of their ticket immediately, keep it in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
