Meeting planned to discuss Route 1/9 intersection

The public is invited to a public meeting Monday to discuss an improvement project at the intersection of Routes 1 and 9 in Santa Cruz.

The proposed project would widen the road to add more turn lanes, bike lanes, and shoulder room to hopefully improve traffic.

The public can review the Notice of Availability of Initial Study with a Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration at the following locations:

Caltrans District 5 Office, 50 Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo weekdays from 8 am until 4:30 pm.
