Monterey County reports 83rd COVID-19 death

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Monterey County Health Department reported Saturday that another person has died from COVID-19. It is the county's 83rd death.

The victim's exact age, sex, race and ethnicity are unknown; however, data published by the Monterey County Health Department states that they were under 55 years of age.

It remains unknown whether or not they had a pre-existing health condition.
