Monterey Mushroom employee at Royal Oaks facility tests positive for COVID-19

ROYAL OAKS, Calif. (KION) Monterey Mushroom confirms that one of its employees at its Royal Oaks facility has tested positive for COVID-19.

A spokesperson for the company told KION that several employees were asked to go home to self-quarantine as a result.

Monterey Mushrooms said it has been under enhanced screening protocols for several weeks and has followed guidelines from the CDC, but did give details about the guidelines.

Another employee tested positive at its Morgan Hill facility as well.
