Drive-thru food distribution scheduled in Soledad this week

SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION) A drive-thru food distribution is set to take place in Soledad Friday evening.

Between 5 and 6 p.m., the City of Soledad along with other local organizations will be distributing food in the Soledad High School parking lot.

Everyone is asked to drive through and stay in the car, but those without a way of driving can walk up.

All are welcome to the event, but priority will be given to farmworkers, seniors and veterans.
