GONZALES, Calif. (KION) Even though there are no confirmed coronavirus cases in Monterey County, the City of Greenfield decided to postpone its Community Summit as a precaution.

It was scheduled for Saturday at Gonzales High School, but will be rescheduled for a future date.

The city said it is doing all it can to prepare for potential future cases of coronavirus, and the Gonzales Unified School District and City of Gonzales are meeting biweekly to work on a plan to stay prepared.

Anyone with questions can call the city at 831-675-5000 or the school district at 831-675-0100.
