Federal Emergency Management Agency administrator Deanne Criswell says “our heart aches for the loss of life” in tornadoes that left four dead and about 100 injured in Oklahoma. Criswell joined Gov. Kevin Stitt and Sen. James Lankford on Tuesday to survey the damage in Marietta, where an EF4 tornado killed one person. Criswell also plans to survey Sulphur, where an EF3 tornado devastated the city’s downtown and left one person dead. Another EF3 tornado struck Holdenville and killed two people. Criswell says the surveys will provide a better understanding of the damage and the needs of the state that the federal government can meet.
